Anti-I69/TTC Efforts

February 4, 2008

Thank you for Participating in our NO TTC Demonstration.

Here's the Plan...

For those with Tractors/ATVs:

  • Offload at the staging area

  • Take your truck & trailer to the Walker Co Fairgrounds and park around back.

  • Volunteers will shuttle you back to your tractor.

  • After the demonstration, you can re-load your tractor/ATV onto your trailer at the fairgrounds whenever you're ready.

For those driving trucks, etc that do NOT need to offload:

  • Please be aware that space may be somewhat limited at Walker & Byrd.

  • We may need you to move to a staging area a little further out on Hwy 75 to make room for tractors, if needed.

  • Please be patient…..We are not professional protestors and this is our first organizing anything of this type.

For Everyone Participating:

  • Please follow the procession and do not deter from the route.

  • This is a peaceful demonstration and we expect all participants to respect that.

  • After arriving at the Fairgrounds, we would like everyone to stay parked for at least 30 minutes. We have several commitments from various press/media and want to maximize exposure to bring attention to this cause.

  • After the initial 30-minute park time, you are free to leave at your convenience; though we would encourage you to stay and participate in the Public Hearing.
